2015 NAHBS – March 6-8 - The Kentucky International Convention Center
Kent Eriksen Cycles

Stalwart Performer

Anyone who has owned a Titanium bicycle will confirm the following statements: they are strong as hell, and when properly crafted they will last a lifetime.

The same attributes might be said of Kent Eriksen’s eponymous bicycle company based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado (and also to Eriksen’s ability on a bicycle, from what we’ve been told). And while 40 years is not quite a lifetime, it’s safe to say that Eriksen is a proven performer in the art of custom bicycle construction, and a specialist in titanium.

Anything made from Ti is fair game for Eriksen: custom road, mountain, cyclocross framesets and even seatposts too.

A member of the “Original Six” NAHBS founding members, Eriksen and his wife Katie Lindquist-Eriksen have been at every NAHBS since the very first one.

Close partners in love, life and the running of their business, Katie and Kent answered our curveball question as a team.

“We would ride Tim O’Donnell’s Shamrock bikes for the paint, Carl Strong’s bikes because of the love, Steve Potts’ bikes because they are ti and if bikes are not an option anymore, we would ski!”
